Madison Middle School - Exemplifying Excellence In Education

During a recent visit to Madison Middle School, students and teachers exemplified interactive education throughout the building. In classes, teachers were found engaging with students during robotics lessons, short filmmaking, music, and core class work.

Mr. Dosland, the Computers Teacher, shared that due to Perkins Funding, he was able to purchase 15 robotic spheres for his class to learn computer coding. Students shared how they are able to use coding to make the spheres go through obstacle courses and even have dance parties. One student told me he had added a robot to his birthday wish list, while another stated they would like to continue learning about computers and coding throughout their education.
